The financial services industry encompasses a wide range of activities to do with personal, industrial and commercial finance. Achieving the SQA HND in Financial Services can lead to job opportunities in a wide variety of commercial environments. These include commercial banks, insurance companies, broking firms, unit and investment trust companies, dealing with the transmission of money, loans, mortgages, pensions, insurance, currency, trade finance, stocks and shares and financial advice.

This is an exciting design-based programme that allows you to explore different areas of digital design by encouraging creative and technical design skills for a wide range of industry careers. There is a strong vocational relevance allowing you to explore and develop your proficiency in digital photography, video, animation, web design and graphic design alongside professional communication, teamwork, project management and presentation skills.

数字媒体设计专业由中国教育部留学服务中心率先引进中国，2004年交由中国人民大学培训学院具体承办。现我院2004级数字媒体专业的学生已经顺利毕业，并全部在英国就读。
数字媒体设计专业是集数字媒体技术应用与艺术创作为一体的专业，是培养具有扎实的数字技术应用基础和艺术理论基础、掌握数字技术在影视艺术领域、网络多媒体艺术领域中的应用原理、基本知识和技能、并获得系统的数字艺术创作训练，能够在影视艺术以及网络多媒体艺术领域中进行创作实践、科学研究并能熟练使用英语的高级专门人才。
作为中英合作开发的国际项目，我们的教学内容主要是指导学生在影像、声音、网络以及互动等领域中进行探索，强调技术与艺术创作的一体化。我们实行以“技术学习 — 观念探索 — 命题创作”为核心的三位一体的教学方针，通过与边缘知识的融合和对未知领域的探索，鼓励学生从事具有实验性的创作活动。
随着数字媒体艺术的发展以及其在更广泛的领域里的应用，学生的就业方向也在不断拓宽。毕业生可在通信、影视、广播、信息家电、平面媒体、游戏等行业从事各类数字媒体的创作、产品开发、艺术设计等工作，就业前景十分乐观。
